Chancery folio (302 x 200mm.), 138 leaves (of 140), [*2] a10 b-g8.6 h-i6 k8 l-p6 q8 A-D8.6, double column, gothic type, initial spaces with printed guides, modern leather, slipcase, early annotations in different hands, lacking 2 leaves of "Tituli quaestionum", some staining or foxing


This copy contains the cancelled leaf k8 with the text (printed on the verso only) crossed through. Giles of Rome was an early member the Augustinian hermits and his works became used as manuals for the order. This collection of theological disputations was probably compiled during the 1280s and 1290s while Giles was teaching theology in Paris.
