each with deep rounded sides and gently flared rim, painted around the exterior with two five-clawed dragons striding above turbulent waves in pursuit of the flaming pearls, the base with a six-character seal mark in underglaze blue
Diameter 10.9 and 10.8 cm, 4⅓ and 4⅓ in.
One bowl has a tiny bruise (approx. 0.8 cm) to the foot with associated losses; the other with a very tiny nick to the foot; Both bowls have light surface scratches and very minor firing imperfections.
