QING DYNASTY, 19TH CENTURY
the ovoid body decorated with lotus blossoms and broad leaves in a wavy pond, the neck enamelled with large stylised lotus blossoms borne on meandering leaves and adorned with a clambering chilong
Height 19.7 cm, 7¾ in.
The vase has a circa 2x2cm., area of depression and associated enamel loss to the shoulder, a 1cm., diam area of enamel infill to the shoulder, a minor dent to the footring and some rubbing to the gilded decoration on the chilong.
