A CELADON JADE SCABBARD SLIDE
LATE EASTERN ZHOU DYNASTY - WESTERN HAN DYNASTY
of rectangular form with one diagonal end, finely carved to the top surface with five rows of bosses, the stone of celadon tone with russet inclusions
Length 8 cm, 3¼ in.
The scabbard slide has a diagonal end which may be original or possibly carved at a later period.
The actual colour is less yellow than the catalogue illustration.
