A CELADON JADE 'CHILONG' WASHER
QING DYNASTY, 18TH CENTURY
of quatrefoil form, carved with three chilong clambering on the rim in openwork, the centre decorated with a flaming pearl, the stone of an even celadon colour
Length 12.7 cm, 5 in.
The washer has a repaired chip to the left paw of one chilong, and the areas behind the head and around the neck of which have been polished. It should be noted the stone is of a slightly warmer and lighter tone.
