A CELADON BROWN JADE PLAQUE
of slightly curved form, carved to the front face with four stylised phoenixes, the reverse incised with similar decoration, the stone veined in dark-brown, the stone of a brownish celadon tone with dark brown inclusions
Length 6.4 cm, 2½ in.
The plaque is in good condition with the exception of a small natural flaw along one edge.
The actual colour is less yellow than the catalogue illustration.
