FIVE GEM SET STICK PINS AND TWO BROOCHES, EARLY 20TH CENTURY

Comprising: five stick pins, one set with a cabochon cat's eye chrysoberyl and cushion-shaped diamonds, one with seed pearls, a demantoid garnet and rose diamonds, one with rose diamonds and calibré-cut demantoid garnets, one with rose diamonds and calibré-cut emeralds, and one with a bouton shaped pearl and rose diamonds, numbered, French assay mark and maker's mark; and two brooches, the first of bar design set with calibré-cut emeralds and rose and circular-cut diamonds, British sponsor's mark, the second designed as a fly and set with a seed pearl, cushion-shaped garnet and rose diamonds.

Cat's eye chrysoberyl: cat's eye chrysoberyl approximately 6.3 x 6.3 x 3.8mm, calculated to weigh approximately 1.50 carats. Good condition.

Seed pearls, demantoid garnet and rose diamonds: glue residue to top pearl, drill hole visible. Good condition.

Rose diamonds and calibré-cut demantoid garnets: demantoid garnets with significant wear to facets, discoloration to metal.

Rose diamonds and calibré-cut emeralds: Good condition.

Pearl and rose diamonds: pearl untested, bouton shaped, diameter approximately 4.0mm. Glue residue visible. French assay mark for 18 carat gold, indistinct French maker's mark, indistinctly numbered, Metalwork slightly warped.

Bar brooch: Chips to some emeralds. Circular-cut diamond approximately 0.10 carats. Stamped with sponsor's mark B&S and date letter A for 1936. Good condition.

Fly brooch: pin fitting of base metal, glue residue visible. Pin end deficient.

Combined gross weight approximately 15.4 grams.
