Claw-set with a cabochon sapphire, weighing approximately 46.00 carats, to barrel-shaped shoulders set with single- and fancy-cut diamonds, size L, French import marks.

Condition Report

A verbal opinion was obtained from GCS, stating that the sapphire shows indication of heat treatment, please note that this is a verbal opinion only and no report was issued.

Ring shank stamped with French import marks for platinum. Sapphire of slight irregular shape, measuring approximately 21.7 x 15.4 x 13.0mm, calculated to weigh approximately 46.00 carats. Mid blue, semi-transparent, with typical eye visible inclusions, a minor cavity visible, stone surface with light surface wear. Diamonds bright and lively. Surface scratches to metal. Ring shank slightly off-round. Overall in good condition. Gross weight approximately 14.1 grams. Please note Condition 11 of the Conditions of Business for Buyers (Online Only) is not applicable to this lot.
