SUEDE PURSE, ANNE-MARIE OF FRANCE, PARIS


Designed as an ice bucket with Champagne bottle, topped with lucite ice cubes, the black suede exterior inscribed Champagne, Reims, France, opening to reveal a large interior compartment and interior pocket, signed Anne-Marie, 228, Rue de Rivoli, Hôtel Meurice, Paris; circa 1965.


Sold in Anne-Marie's shop in the Hôtel Meurice, the Champagne bucket purse was also gifted to VIP guests of the hotel, placed in their suites to be found on their arrival.
