STAR SAPPHIRE AND DIAMOND RING, RUSER


Featuring a cabochon star sapphire measuring approximately 18.3 x 14.9 x 12.9 mm, framed and accented by round diamonds, size 5¼, signed Ruser.


Accompanied by AGL report no. 1103615 dated September 13, 2019 stating that the star sapphire is of Ceylon origin, with no indications of heating.

Condition Report

In good condition, the mounting with light surface scratches commensurate with wear, not noticeable when worn, and one small area to the interior with minor evidence of solder, not visible when worn. Mounting inscribed 10% Irid Plat for iridium-platinum alloy. The star sapphire is medium deep very slightly violetish blue, slightly included, with moderate asterism. The diamonds, estimated to weigh a total of approximately 6.50 carats, are approximately H-I color, predominately VS clarity with a few SI examples. Accompanied by AGL report no. 1103615 dated September 13, 2019 stating that the star sapphire is of Ceylon origin, with no indications of heating.
