SAPPHIRE AND DIAMOND BRACELET, FRANCE


Of openwork design, featuring a geometric pattern set with old European and single-cut diamonds, highlighted with calibré-cut sapphires, length 6⅞ inches, with French assay and workshop marks, one diamond missing; circa 1925. 

Condition Report

In good condition, especially given the age of the piece, with surface wear including scratches and a few small nicks and a couple small areas with evidence of repair, not noticeable when worn. One small diamond missing. French assay marks for platinum. French workshop and assay marks are located on the sides of the 9th and 13th links respectively from the female clasp end. The diamonds, estimated to weigh a total of approximately 7.00 carats, are approximately H-J color, VS-SI clarity with a few I1 examples. The sapphires are medium to medium deep blue, predominantly slightly included with a few moderately included examples. Gross weight approximately 26 dwts. Clasp is fitted with a safety closure and closes securely. Width approximately ½ inch.
