GOLD, GEM-SET AND DIAMOND BRACELET, SEAMAN SCHEPPS
Composed of large textured gold links, set with cabochon emeralds, sapphires and rubies, accented by old European-cut diamonds, gross weight approximately 82 dwts, internal circumference 7 inches, signed Seaman Schepps; circa 1945.
In good condition, the mounting with surface scratches, scuffs and small dents, a few areas of minor discoloration, predominantly to the reverse and not noticeable when worn, and the reverse with evidence of solder. Mounting tests as 18 karat gold. The emeralds are medium light green to medium green, heavily included, as is typical for cabochons. The sapphires are medium slightly violetish blue to medium deep slightly violetish blue, heavily included. The rubies are medium and medium deep slightly purplish red to strongly purplish red, heavily included. The diamonds, estimated to weigh a total of approximately 1.20 carats, are approximately H-I color, VS-SI clarity. Fold-over clasp is fitted with a safety closure and closes securely. Width approximately 1⅜ inches.
