AQUAMARINE AND DIAMOND RING, VERDURA


Centering a cushion-cut aquamarine weighing approximately 6.00 carats, within a domed mounting pavé-set with round diamonds, accented by gold ropetwist, size 6, unsigned.


Accompanied by a photocopy of a valuation from Verdura, dated October 4, 1985, available upon request.

Condition Report

In good condition, the mounting with signs of light wear including surface scratches, and a few small areas of minor discoloration, not noticeable when worn. With scratch number 04157. Mounting tests as 18 karat gold and platinum. The aquamarine is medium light blue, slightly included, with a few nicks to the crown visible under 10x magnification. The diamonds, stated to weigh a total of approximately 2.32 carats, are approximately G-I color, predominantly VS clarity with a few SI examples. Gross weight approximately 15 dwts. Dimensions approximately 1 x 1 inch. Fitted with inner sizing band. Accompanied by a photocopy of a valuation from Verdura, dated October 4, 1985, available upon request.
