Black letter, with roman and italic, text in two columns, a few woodcut illustrations and maps, woodcut initials; lacking 34 of 614 leaves but Biblical texts essentially complete (save for occasional tiny losses): lacks general title and 33 other leaves of preliminaries (all before A1, the beginning of Genesis); NT title bound at front with central letterpress replaced by cut-out title from a King James Bible, some defective and repaired leaves throughout, some browning and staining. Nineteenth-century diced calf, marbled endpapers; very rubbed, rebacked. Sold with all faults, not subject to return.
