8vo (8 1/4 x 5 1/2 in.; 210 x 140 mm, partially unopened). Publisher's quarter blue buckram, yellow paper spine label printed in red, paper-covered boards in red, blue, yellow and white pattern, top edges stained red; some wear at corners, but generally a good copy. Original yellow dust-jacket printed in red; jacket laid down, skillfully restored at edges, spine faded, some soiling. 


First edition in first state binding and dust-jacket. Only 500 copies were bound with Curwen patterned paper. Wallace Stevens's extraordinary first book.
