Original unlined condition. The work is noticeably wavy on the left and right side. The surface presents well, aside from minor surface dirt and dust and scattered areas of finely patterned craquelure. Frame abrasion with some minor associated discoloration visible along left and upper edges. Under UV: varnish fluoresces green unevenly. Older, finely applied retouches visible above the figure's head and on her proper right cheek. A few fine dots of inpainting to address prior frame abrasion visible along left and upper edges. Ready to hang in its current state.
