Condition Report

Oil on a thin panel. The front and reverse both present well with fresh colors. 'Au jardin du Luxembourg': The panel is slightly bowed and this is visible in the lower left corner in current framing. Under UV: varnish fluoresces green. There are three brushy dots of inpainting : at upper center in the trees; at the lower right edge; and at the lower left edge. A tiny dash of fine inpainting in the trees at lower center. Fine, very minor inpainting along edge beneath signature. 'Les quais de Seine': Under UV: a small brushy dot of inpaniting in the sky at upper right. A few finely applied inpaints to the upper edge. Ready to hang in its current state.
