THE EVENING'S GLEANINGS
signed LOIR LUIGI (lower right)

Please note this lot is sold unframed.
We would like to thank Noé Willer for kindly confirming the authenticity of this work.
The following condition report was kindly provided by Simon Parkes Art Conservation, Inc.: This work is painted on a good panel. The panel is flat and the paint layer is stable. The surface is quite dusty and slightly dirty. There is a small 1/4 loss on the tree at left. A fresh varnish would certainly make an immediate difference. If the work were cleaned, only a few small retouches in the distant trees on the far left would be removed. There seem to be some drips of a slightly shinier varnish in the center, but these have not affected the work itself.
For a full treatment report, please contact the department.
