oil on canvas laid down on board
24¼ by 16⅛ in.
61.6 by 41 cm
Oil on canvas laid down on board. The work is covered by a yellowed, dirty varnish and there are a few scattered pin dot accretions. A horizontal repair is visible on the figure's upper back extending to the middle of her shoulder. There are a few areas of isolated, faint craquelure and minor frame abrasion along the left edge. Under UV: varnish fluoresces green, with a brushy area of fluorescence above the figure's head, possibly inherent. Inpainting along left edge to address prior frame abrasion. The work would be a good candidate for a professional clean.
