shade impressed TIFFANY STUDIOS/NEW YORK/609-2
55 in. (141 cm) drop
25 in. (63.5 cm) diameter of shade
Overall in very good condition. When viewed firsthand, the shade displays with stunning green and blue coloration, including ultramarine, cerulean blue, cool grey-blue, turquoise, emerald and apple green. The shade with approximately 33 cracks dispersed throughout which have been recently sensitively stabilized by a professional glass conservator, all stable and not visually distracting. The shade with some extremely minor traces of surface soiling concentrated to the contours adjacent to the leadlines, consistent with age. The leading in select areas concentrated to the lattice skirt have been sensitively stabilized by a professional Tiffany conservator. One leaf tile in the skirt has been sensitively replaced with well-matched period Tiffany glass. With a period socket cluster with replaced sockets retaining their period casings. With a replaced bronze rod and canopy in very good condition. With period chains and in very good condition with some light wear and oxidation. A striking and very elegant chandelier with rich coloration.
