Condition Report

Overall in very good condition. When viewed firsthand, the shade displays an artistic variety of vibrant tones and pastel hues, ranging from rich blue to vibrant apple green to soft fuchsias and corals. The shade presents with approximately 10 cracks dispersed throughout, stable. The base is in very good condition and displays a rich brown patina. The bronze surfaces with scattered, very minor surface scratches, abrasions, and minor discolorations, and with some traces of light surface soiling to the recessed contours if the design, consistent with age and gentle use. The patina of the upper portion of the base column appears to have been sensitively enhanced at some point in the history of the piece. The arms with some traces of oxidation and discoloration consistent with age. With period sockets and a period finial in very good condition. A charming shade design with cheerful coloration, which strongly evokes early springtime blossoms.
