Overall in very good condition. The shade gradates beautifully from intense red-orange in the upper register to soft ochre with subtle green inflections in the lower register, with a foliate band of vibrant emerald green. The shade with approximately 5 cracks dispersed throughout, stable. The shade with some traces of surface soiling concentrated to the contours adjacent to the leadlines, consistent with age. The shade with some possible releading visible on the interior near the tag, not visually detractive. The base is in very good condition with some minor wear to the patina and some scattered minute discolorations. The bottom edge of the foot and upper portion of the base with some possible enhancement to the patina. With replaced sockets and pull chains. With a period finial in very good condition. A beautiful shade and base pairing with brilliant coloration.
