Condition Report

Overall in very good condition. The wooden surfaces present with some faint surface scratches, minor abrasions and light areas of discoloration commensurate with age and gentle use and largely concentrated to the central area of the upper tier. The fruitwood marquetry with minor fine scuffs, scratches and hairline cracks, the largest measuring approximately 4 inches wide, which is stable and not visually disruptive. The headboard presents two minor dents, the largest measuring approximately ½ in. wide. The upper central compartment with original wood and glass window that can be detached. The glass surface of the window presents faint scratches and scuffing, not visually detractive and consistent with age and gentle use. The upper corners of the middle shelf and the lower cabinet with light adhesive residue. The lower cabinet with one removable wooden shelf. The vitrine with two original working keys which present signs of oxidation.
