Condition Report

Overall good condition. The patinated wrought iron surface presents with scattered minor scratches, nicks, accretions, abrasions, pitting, and wear to the finish, consistent with age and gentle use. Some areas of rusting on one of the bookends, consistent with with the natural aging process of the iron material. A sculptural pair of bookends by Edgar Brandt exhibiting his mastery of the animal form.
