Condition Report

This work is in good condition overall, taking its age into account. The sheet presents three isolated 1/4-inch vertical tears at the extreme edges, two at the upper and one at the lower. It has been laid down to a mat and is stable. The colors are vibrant, and the media layer is stable. A few small isolated areas of rubbing and losses are present in the lower quadrants and upper right quadrant of the work. A few minor pinpoint losses and very fine lines of craquelure are present in the areas of white pigment, which are consistent with the age and nature of this pigment.
