'TOY BALL, NYC'
signed, titled, and dated '1955' in ink in the margin, mounted, overmatted, 1954, possibly printed in the 1960s (Looking In, contact sheet p. 67; The Americans, no. 67, lower image)
Overall 10¾ by 3¾ in. (27.3 by 9.5 cm.)
This photograph - two negatives printed full frame on paper with a surface sheen - is in generally very good condition. It is mounted and overmatted so that the margins and reverse cannot be examined. When examined closely in high raking light, extremely faint silvering can be seen in the darkest areas of the print.
When examined under ultraviolet light, this print does not appear to fluoresce.
