cap decorated with a smaller depiction of a hummingbird and a flower, clip signed Namiki • fountain pen with an 18k

gold medium sized nib engraved Namiki  • accompanied by presentation box, outer packaging, instructions for use

and care, empty ink bottle, and certificate of authenticity

Namiki is a well establish Japanese pen company, that is known for their maki-e laquered designs. These pens are specially hand painted by a single artisan. The process can take several months to complete, making each individual pen a unique work of art. 


Traditionally in the history of the Aztecs, hummingbirds are seen as messengers between themselves and their deceased ancestors or gods. Amongst many cultures, Hummingbirds are seen as a healer and are known to bring love, good luck and joy.  


The Yukari Hummingbird was made with a very limited production sent worldwide. The small specs of gold and colorful pigments is absolutely mesmerizing to look at. This "Hummingbird" pen comes accompanied by its certificate of authenticity, instructions for use and care, an empty Namiki ink bottle, and its original presentation box with outer packaging.
