Beginning in 1992, Montblanc has dedicated a limited edition series of writing instruments to great writers of literature called the "Writers Edition". For over two and a half decades, each year the firm pays tribute to a writer that has influenced our society with their works. Each piece within the set is inspired by the authors themselves.

The present limited edition fountain pen is made to commemorate F. Scott Fitzgerald, a brilliant American author who helped depict in his novels the roaring twenties, also referred to as the Jazz era.  Through his most notable works "The Great Gatsby" and "This Side of Paradise", Fitzgerald was able to truly bring to life the extravagance and glamour often associated with this time in America.

The limited edition set is accompanied by its original presentation box, outer packaging and Mark Twain instruction manual booklet.
