8vo (242 x 160mm.), FIRST EDITION, ONE OF 206 COPIES on Normandy Vellum, frontispiece portrait of Dickens and other illustrations, facsimile illustrations of 1842 report, original grey cloth-backed boards lettered in purple, some minor soiling, binding slightly soiled


A volume relating to the ball held at the Park Theatre in New York on 14 February 1842, mostly reprinting articles from an 'extra' edition of The New York Aurora newspaper from 15 February.
