Condition Report

Watercolor and gouache on paper laid down on canvas. The canvas is visible along the top edge and does not wrap around the stretcher, though the paper wraps around the stretcher along the other edges. There is undulation to the sheet on the left side of the composition and at lower right. The work is in fair condition, aside from light and time staining, surface dirt and dust, and a few sparse pin dot accretions. There is an area of possible pin dot surface accretions at upper right; and an area of possible abrasion at lower right. There are three small losses (to the canvas and the wooden stretcher) along the extreme upper edge, and two additional small losses at the extreme center right and upper left edges (not visible in current framing). There is scattered frame abrasion along the lower and center right edges (not visible in current framing).
