AN EGYPTIAN GRANITE BUST OF MAN, 19TH/20TH DYNASTY, 1292-1075 B.C.


from a pair statue, wearing a garment with full pleated sleeve, broad collar in relief, and wide horizontally ribbed wig with lappets in front, the hand of his companion resting on his upper arm, remains of a highly-worn inscription on the back-slab.

Height in front 17.2 cm.

reputedly Tysziewicz Collection, exhibited at the Staatliche Museum, Berlin
