A ROMAN MARBLE PORTRAIT HEAD OF A WOMAN, ANTONINE, 3RD QUARTER OF THE 2ND CENTURY A.D.


with incised irises and drilled pupils, her flat wavy hair parted in the center, brushed over the top of the ears, and tied in a spiral chignon at the back, the eyebrows incised; front of lips restored.

Height 28 cm.
