Condition Report

The surface of the work is slightly dirty. The work retains frame abrasions with mild staining along the extreme outer edges of the canvas. There appears to be a small spot of surface cracking above the figure's nose in the blue pigment. There is a faint stretcher bar mark along the right edge with a few very minor corresponding vertical lines of inpaint and inpaint along the right edge. There appear to be additional scattered pindots of inpainting in the figure's ear, at the back of the figure's neck and a spot in the figure's hat. The canvas does not appear to have ever been removed from it's original stretchers and may require slight adjustment.
