Condition Report

The work appears to be lined and the original tacking edges trimmed. There is extensive surface cracking throughout the composition with corresponding chip losses and lifting to the paint layer in select areas. The surface of the work is very dirty and retains a heavy, discolored varnish layer. Under UV light there appears to be inpainting along the extreme outer edges, likely to address frame abrasion, and scattered spots of inpainting in the yellow sky at upper center.
