Stephen Score, Boston, Massachusetts.
An American Folk Art masterpiece composed of a three-story, clapboard house with intricate details including a steeple with a carved finial base, a chimney, scalloped eaves, windows with pediments and baluster-turned railings, all surmounted by a beautifully carved highly abstract, wooden horse weathervane; the horse of animated form having a carved mane and a wedge-shaped tail, and the entirety painted with old cream, red and charcoal paint.
