Condition Report

The canvas has not been lined and the paint surface appears to be stable.

Inspection under ultra-violet light reveals an area of retouching addressing a cross-shaped repair, circa 15 by 10cm, in the box on the table (patched on the reverse). Another small repair is visible in the upper left quadrant. Both repairs are visible to the naked eye upon close inspection. Other small patches are visible on the reverse along the right and left edge respectively - however, these are not immediately associated with visible restoration in the composition.

Overall, this work presents well and is ready to hang.

Presented in a simple wooden frame.
