The canvas has not been lined and is securely attached to a keyed wooden stretcher.
The paint surface is stable.
Inspection under ultra-violet light reveals an even layer of varnish and some isolated spots and lines of cosmetic retouching, including some fine lines in the brown horse's legs and some pinhead sized spots in the background. This work is in good condition and is ready to hang.
Presented in a decorative gilt frame with a nameplate.
