Overall the condition of the bronze is very good, with minor dirt and wear to the surface consistent with age. There are a few nicks and scratches, including to the tambourine, and an area of scratching to the edge of the terrasse below the putto. There is wear to the patina, including some dark spotting. An original joint is slightly visible at the proper left arm of the adult figure.
