Overall the condition of the bronze is very good with minor dirt and wear to the surface consistent with age. There is minor wear to the patina at the horse's reigns and the strap of the bajonet. There is a knock to the tip of the bajonet. There appears to be some warping to the reigns and the horse's harness. There is some rubbing to the patina at the high points. There are some scratches to the surface in areas, in particular to the horse's neck around the reigns. There is some minor wear to the paint of the naturalistic stone base, in particular to the high points.
