Overall the condition of the marble is good with some dirt and wear to the surface consistent with age. The proper right foot has been reattached just above the ankle, and there are minor chips and abrasions to the foot. There are further minor chips to some of the high points of the pleated drapery, and to the edges of Raphael's drawing board. There are minor chips to the tips of the fingers of the proper left hand and the tip of the middle finger and the little finger have been reattached. There is minor veining, consistent with the material, including to the proper left foot. There are minor chips and abrasions to the underside of the base.
