TWO DUTCH SILVER BASKETS, ONE, H.A. DE MEIJER, THE HAGUE, 1827, THE SECOND, MAKER'S MARK MW, AMSTERDAM, 1816


The first pierced with diapers and with reeded rim and handle, on a spreading circular base, engraved 'par amour', 8.9cm., 3 1/2 in., the second, of flaring form with reeded rim, the body pierced with overlapping circular between strapwork borders, the underside engraved with a flower and dated 1862.
