A BLUE AND WHITE 'DRAGON' BOWL | QING DYNASTY, KANGXI PERIOD

The deep rounded sides rising from a short slightly spreading foot to an everted rim, painted in the ming style around the exterior with four large dragons clutching lotus sprays in their jaws, all above a ruyi band, the interior similarly painted on the upper band encircling a double vajra medallion, the base with an apocryphal six-character Chenghua mark in underglaze-blue.
