Description
A PAIR OF FAMILLE-VERTE MYTHICAL BEAST DISHES | QING DYNASTY, KANGXI PERIOD [TWO ITEMS]
Each with shallow rounded sides rising from a short tapering foot to an everted foliate rim, decorated to the interior with a central medallion enclosing a qilin in a fenced garden, surrounded by four panels with mythical beasts in garden landscapes, all divided by four clambering chilong and reserved on a green fish-roe ground, the rim bordered with six flower-filled cartouches reserved on various diaper grounds.
