A BLUE AND WHITE 'FLORAL' BOWL | QING DYNASTY, KANGXI PERIOD

The deep rounded sides rising from the short straight foot to a slightly everted rim, the exterior painted in rich cobalt-blue tones with blooming prunus, lotus, peony and chrysanthemum, the interior with a medallion enclosing a jardinière encircled by a three friends of winter band at the rim, the base with an apocryphal Chenghua mark in underglaze-blue.
