A POLYCHROME DECORATED SOAPSTONE FIGURE OF GUANDI | QING DYNASTY, 19TH CENTURY

Carved standing wearing full armour tied at the waist with a lion-mask belt, his right hand raised and the left resting on his hip, the face with fierce expression framed by a cap, traces of red, green and black pigments, all raised on a rectangular pedestal base.
