This romantic comedy was directed by the legendary Frank Capra, and stars James Stewart, Jean Arthur, Lionel Barrymore and Edward Arnold. The film was adapted from George S. Kaufman's and Moss Hart's Pulitzer Prize-winning play of the same name, which tells the story of a man (whose family are wealthy snobs) who wants to marry a warm-hearted woman from an extremely eccentric family.

Anselmo Ballester's stunning painted style artwork on this poster was only used for the film's 1951 short re-release in Italy, and is one of the most beautiful posters of all the Frank Capra films.
