This film was written and directed by Quentin Tarantino, and is his most loved by film critics. The film was responsible for revitalising the career of John Travolta.

This special standee was designed and used in major video shops when the film was released on video. Owing to the nature of the materials used and the difficulty storing these standees, not many are known to have survived.
