This 1953 Ealing comedy was directed by Charles Crichton, and was the first Ealing comedy to be shot in Technicolor. The film stars Stanley Holloway Naunton Wayne, George Relph and John Gregson. The story focuses on a group of villagers who are attempting to keep their branch of the railway line open.
