This 1946 film was directed by David Lean, and is based on the novel by Charles Dickens. The film stars John Mills, Jean Simmons, Alec Guinness and Valerie Hobson. It won two Oscars - Best Art Direction and Best Cinematography.

Anselmo Ballester's lavishly painted poster artwork beautifully captures John Mills and Valerie Hobson, giving homage to the author of the book, Charles Dickens.
