Condition Report

All items in good condition, with surface scratches and slight discoloration in small areas to the mountings, not noticeable when worn. Each mounting stamped 750 for 18 karat gold. The fluorites are medium light to medium yellowish green to bluish green, moderately to heavily included with surface reaching inclusions, as is typical for fluorites and tumbled gems. The enamel is intact and in good condition. The fire opals are medium slightly reddish orange, slightly included. The pink tourmalines, estimated to weigh a total of approximately 7.25 carats, are strongly purplish pink, moderately included. The diamonds, estimated to weigh a total of approximately 0.85 carat, are approximately H-I color, VS-SI clarity. The off-round to semi-baroque cultured pearls are of white body color, with strong rose, aubergine and green overtones, good luster, with moderately wrinkled skins. All carat weights obtained insofar as mountings allow. Total gross weight approximately 65 dwts. The brooch measures approximately 2⅝ x 1¾ inches; the fire opal and brown tourmaline earclips measure approximately 1¼ inches in length; the pink tourmaline, diamond and cultured pearl earclips measure approximately 1¼ inches in length.

The images of the lot also form part of the online condition report for the lot provided by Sotheby's. Any reference to condition in the online condition report does not amount to a full description of condition. The online condition report may make reference to particular imperfections of the lot but you should note that the lot may have other faults not expressly referred to in the online condition report of the lot or shown in the online images of the lot. The online condition report may not refer to all faults, restoration, alteration or adaptation because Sotheby's is not a professional conservator or restorer but rather the online condition report is a statement of subjective, qualified opinion genuinely held by Sotheby's (for example, information regarding colour, clarity and weight of gemstones are statements of opinion only and not statements of fact by Sotheby's).
